About the Event
Now in its 11th year, VRTO is Canada’s longest-running conference dedicated to immersive and spatial media. Presented in partnership with OCAD University, the 2026 edition brings together creators, developers, researchers, educators, and innovators to explore the frontier of virtual reality, augmented reality, spatial computing, and AI-driven immersive experiences.
This year’s programming spans three full days of keynote presentations, panel discussions, workshops, live demos, and interactive installations — with a focus on the AI/XR nexus, ethical innovation, virtual production, and the future of storytelling. A new third day has been added to the 2026 schedule, reflecting growing momentum in Canada’s immersive tech community.
