Borderless AI has expanded its presence on the ADP Marketplace across the U.S. and Canada. Why is this a meaningful milestone for the company, and what does it signal about your growth trajectory?
Willson Cross: Being live on both the U.S. and Canada ADP Marketplaces is a meaningful milestone because it’s not simply a ‘listing,’ it’s the result of a rigorous, enterprise-grade process that validates both our product maturity and our ability to operate inside a trusted HR ecosystem. ADP Marketplace partners go through extensive diligence, security review, and technical validation. In our case, it took more than a year of work to meet the requirements, build the integration, and complete the approval process, and we’ve now done that twice, across two Marketplaces.
It also signals where Borderless AI is headed. Since launching in 2022, we’ve grown quickly by bringing a modern, AI-native approach to global employment, with coverage in 170+ countries, and by delivering the kind of speed and service customers expect from a platform built for today’s workforce. This expansion makes it even easier for organizations that already rely on ADP Workforce Now to connect their HR foundation to Borderless AI for global employment. It’s also a signal of momentum: very few providers earn the trust required to be live in both regions, which is why only two EOR providers appear on both Marketplaces today.
For companies hiring across borders, complexity often slows execution. How does this expanded availability help teams move faster while staying compliant in North America?
Cross-border hiring usually starts with a simple business need: you’ve found the right person, they’re in a different country, and you want them onboard quickly. The complexity shows up immediately after that, because employment agreements, statutory benefits, payroll requirements, and local labour rules vary significantly by country. You can’t simply reuse your ‘home country’ process and hope it holds up. By being available on ADP Marketplace in both the U.S. and Canada, we’re meeting teams where they already work.
Organizations running ADP Workforce Now can now connect Borderless AI to support compliant global hiring while reducing the operational drag that slows execution, things like duplicate data entry, manual handoffs between systems, and delays caused by disconnected workflows. The practical outcome is that teams can move faster without compromising compliance: they can issue locally compliant employment agreements, onboard international hires with fewer steps, and keep workforce data aligned across systems. That’s the difference between global hiring as a fire drill and global hiring as a repeatable operating motion.

Beyond partnerships, what core problem is Borderless AI fundamentally solving for global teams, and how is your approach different from traditional Employer of Record and payroll providers?
Willson Cross: The core problem we solve is that global hiring shouldn’t feel like building a new company every time you enter a new country. But for many teams, that’s what it resembles: scattered vendors, inconsistent processes, slow onboarding cycles, payment friction, and constant uncertainty around local compliance. Borderless AI was built for the reality that global hiring is now mainstream, not just a Fortune 500 activity. Startups and mid-market companies increasingly rely on global talent to stay competitive, and they need infrastructure that’s fast, reliable, and operationally clean.
Our approach is different in three ways. First, we’re AI-native by design, which allows us to automate and simplify workflows that legacy providers still handle through manual processes. Second, we pair employment infrastructure with modern payment capabilities so teams can fund and run global payroll with far less friction. And third, we operate through our owned entities and local employment infrastructure, so customers can hire compliantly without establishing foreign subsidiaries. In short, we reduce the complexity, latency, and overhead that historically made global hiring feel inaccessible.
From a founder’s perspective, how does this expansion strengthen Borderless AI’s position in an increasingly competitive global workforce technology market?
From a founder’s perspective, this expansion strengthens our position in two important ways: credibility and distribution. Credibility, because ADP Marketplace is one of the most established HR ecosystems in North America, being live across both regions signals that Borderless AI can meet the expectations of enterprise HR buyers and operate inside mature, security-conscious environments. Distribution, because it makes Borderless AI easier to discover, evaluate, and adopt for teams that already run on ADP Workforce Now.
It also reinforces what we believe differentiates Borderless AI: customer experience and execution. We’re proud to be the highest-rated Employer of Record on G2.com, and that recognition matters because it reflects real buyer feedback on speed, service quality, and product reliability. In a market where many solutions look similar on paper, consistent delivery is what separates platforms that scale from platforms that stall.
Looking ahead, what’s next for Borderless AI as you scale across regions and how do you envision the platform evolving as global hiring becomes the default for modern companies?
We’re building Borderless AI for a world where global hiring is the default, not the exception, and that means continuing to reduce friction across the full global employment lifecycle. Next, you’ll see us expand deeper into the HR ecosystems where modern teams already operate. The goal is simple: make it easier for organizations to connect their existing HR foundation to Borderless AI, so global employment doesn’t sit in a silo or require parallel processes. You’ll also see the platform evolve beyond ‘compliance infrastructure’ and more toward a strategic operating layer for global growth.
Global hiring isn’t just a legal or payroll decision; it’s a business strategy decision: where you hire, how fast you can enter new markets, how you manage costs, and how you support employees across borders with consistency. Borderless AI will continue to invest in automation, payments, and workflow intelligence so teams can move faster, stay compliant, and make better decisions as they scale globally. If the future of work is borderless, the systems behind it should be too.
